Overview

Project Activities are the core operational work items in SiteMaster. They are used to plan, organize, schedule, execute, monitor, and report project-related tasks across construction sites and teams.

A Project Activity can represent:

• Construction work
• Inspection activities
• Permit-related tasks
• Milestones
• Site operations
• Documentation workflows
• BOQ execution items
• Maintenance activities

Project Activities support scheduling, dependencies, inspections, approvals, progress tracking, file attachments, recurring operations, and reporting.

Main capabilities include:

• Activity scheduling
• Progress monitoring
• Gantt chart integration
• BOQ integration
• Inspection workflows
• Method statement approvals
• Permit management
• Site assignment

Create

To create a new Project Activity:

1. Navigate to Work Management → Project Activities
2. Click Add new
3. Enter the required information
4. Configure scheduling and activity settings
5. Assign teams, managers, and sites
6. Save the activity

Typical fields include:

• Activity Name
• Activity Type
• Status
• Site
• Planned Dates
• Duration
• Progress
• BOQ Item
• Method Statement
• Inspection Requirement
• Permit Requirement

Project Activities can also include:

• Attachments
• Dependencies
• Reviews
• Tags
• Specifications
• Custom attributes

List

The Project Activities list page provides centralized management of all activities.

The list supports:

• Search and filtering
• Advanced filtering
• Sorting
• Paging
• Bulk actions
• Export operations
• Import operations

Activities can be filtered by:

• Status
• Type
• Site
• Manager
• Date range
• Inspection status
• Approval status
• Published state

The list view also displays:

• Progress
• Planned dates
• Actual dates
• Inspection state
• Critical activity indicators
• Milestone indicators

Editing

Single Edit

To edit a single Project Activity:

1. Open the Project Activities list
2. Click Edit beside the activity
3. Modify the required fields
4. Click Save

Editable information includes:

• Scheduling
• Progress
• Attachments
• Dependencies
• Inspections
• Method statements
• Permissions
• Reviews
• Publication settings

Bulk Edit

Bulk edit allows updating multiple Project Activities simultaneously.

To perform a bulk edit:

1. Select multiple activities from the list
2. Click Bulk Edit
3. Choose fields to update
4. Apply changes

Bulk editing is useful for:

• Status updates
• Publishing changes
• Site reassignment
• Date updates
• Team assignment
• Inspection settings

Download as PDF

Project Activities can be downloaded as PDF documents for reporting and sharing purposes.

PDF downloads may include:

• Activity details
• Schedules
• Progress information
• Inspection data
• Attachments references
• Approval information

To download:

1. Open the activity
2. Click Download as PDF

Export

Project Activities support multiple export formats.

Export All Found as XML

Exports all activities matching the current search filters into XML format.

To export:

1. Apply filters if needed
2. Click Export → All found as XML

Export Selected as XML

Exports only selected activities into XML format.

To export selected records:

1. Select activities
2. Click Export → Selected as XML

Export All Found as Excel

Exports all filtered activities into Excel format.

To export:

1. Apply filters
2. Click Export → All found as Excel

Export Selected as Excel

Exports selected activities into Excel format.

To export selected records:

1. Select activities
2. Click Export → Selected as Excel

Exported data may include:

• Activity information
• Dates
• Progress
• Costs
• Quantities
• Inspection status
• Approval status
• Site information

Import

Project Activities can be imported using XML import functionality.

Importing allows:

• Bulk creation
• Data migration
• System synchronization
• Backup restoration

To import:

1. Open the Project Activities page
2. Click Import
3. Select the XML file
4. Start the import process

Imported records may include:

• Activity data
• Scheduling information
• Attachments
• Relationships
• Attributes

Deleting

Delete All

Delete All removes all activities matching the current filters.

To delete all found records:

1. Apply filters if required
2. Click Delete → Delete all found

Warning:

Deleting activities may also affect:

• Reports
• Dependencies
• Inspection records
• Related documents

Delete Selected

Delete Selected removes only selected records.

To delete selected activities:

1. Select activities
2. Click Delete → Delete selected

This operation is useful for removing:

• Duplicate records
• Cancelled activities
• Test data
• Obsolete activities
